![]() ![]() I completely support local businesses from growing up with one but this is one that is over pricing beyond what they need to for what they are serving. I've had better put together boards at chain restaurants for less $$. I base my value on what I charge my clients and the time I spend with them and I was APPAULED and WILL NEVER go back here again. The bartender (owner?), nice but when not busy, checking in a little too much to the point of not feeling comfortable. I could not get out of there fast enough. Plus, plastic utensils with a napkin, NO plate. Sometimes that's okay, but give me an idea, please. ![]() Nothing was explained or described, so a free for all and total guessing game. No mustard or jelly to contrast any flavors. $80+ for 4 drinks (and the cocktails are mini cocktails) and a sampler charcuterie and cheese platter that consists of DELI SLICED, nitrate filled meats and a couple of locally sourced cheeses, 4 or 5 slices of toasted bread and 5 or 6 picked cherry peppers for the pickled vegetable. Went here this evening for the first time. ![]() Unremarkable caprese salad, hummus, cheese board, etc. And, for all the big deal they make about preparing things in-house, the menu was pretty basic for the price. If you're across from a theater (and call yourself The Muse), you have to be able to accommodate a large rush in the 90 minutes before a show. They appear to have only one person working in a kitchen the size of a dj booth. We heard other people who came in after us cancelling their orders. Yet, we didn't get our appetizers until 6:45 and our "boards" didn't come until 7:00. However, we came in at 6:00 in front of a 7:30 show, when the restaurant was mostly empty. Presumably, this is so they can serve lots of people quickly - particularly important since they are across the street from the Hanover Theatre. Cheese boards, meat boards, a few appetizers and sandwiches. The pickled vegetables were particularly nice.
