Cloudpunk, and its City of Ghosts DLC for that matter, serves the player only some essential gameplay mechanics and offers something much more exciting in return: a good story and a well-executed narrative. When playing Cloudpunk for a few hours, you could argue that you do nothing more than traversing a futuristic city in your flying car and delivering packages or passengers from one place to another. Does this mean Cloudpunk is a poor man’s Cyberpunk or can the latter learn a thing or two from its smaller indie cousin? Adventurous Me Being developed by a small German indie studio means its production and marketing budget were nowhere near that of Cyberpunk. ![]() ![]() Therefore, chances are that you may have missed that other futuristic cyberpunk themed title released months before it: Cloudpunk.
